Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the most frequent questions asked by our patients. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How much do you charge for a checkup and consultation?

Checkups and consultations are free with no obligation. If you are interested in doing dental work now or sometime in the future, we will be happy to discuss the dental work you need and what the cost would be if you do the work at our clinic. Even if you have been to another clinic, we will be happy to give you a second opinion for free.

Can I just send you an x-ray by email for consultation, so I don’t have to come to the clinic?

Yes. Most of our foreign patients first send their x-rays by email and we discuss treatment before they come to Croatia.

If I decide to have dental implants done, who will do the work and what experience do they have?

The oral surgeon does all the implant work and he has over 20 years of experience. He is specially trained in surgical preparation and placements of the implants. Other crucial procedures such as bone grafting and sinus lifts are also done only by the oral surgeon.

When do I have to pay my dental bill?

Payment is made after treatment, in cash or credit card.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we guarantee all our work. This includes fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants. We want all our patients to be happy with our service and we do the best job that we can to meet and even exceed the patient’s expectations.

If I want to go ahead with treatment how much notice do I need to give?

The sooner you contact us the better, but we would like at least two weeks notice so we can make you an appointment and plan for the treatment.

What are your work hours?

We are at the clinic 8 hours a day during the weekdays. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we work from early morning to late afternoon. Tuesdays and Fridays we work from early afternoon to evening. Although, we do receive patients during off work hours and weekends for dental emergencies and in situations where patient cannot come in during regular work hours.

Do you charge more if you work on a patient off work hours or during the weekend?

No. We charge the same price as if the patient came in during regular hours.

How do prices of dental treatment at your clinic compare to other countries?

Dental work at our clinic offers you a savings of 30% – 70% compared to countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, and most other European countries. We listed our prices on this website.

Why is dental treatment so much cheaper at your clinic than in the clinics in these other countries?

Even though we use the same materials and use the same equipment and technology, it is cheaper here because the wages and overhead are much lower in Croatia than in clinics in those other countries.

How do your prices compare to other local dental clinics?

If you look around, you can probably find local clinics that charge less than we do and other clinics that charge more.  We stand out because of the materials we use, the technology, and finally the quality of the dental work. If you compare the materials we use, the dental work you get, and the price you paid, then we would be your best choose.

How long do I have to stay in Split to compete the dental work?

One week is normally more than enough for most crown and bridge work. Implants require a 1 full day stay with a return visit of 15 days after about 3 months.

In what language can I communicate?

The staff speaks Croatian, English, and German.
